This health and fitness project gives an insight into the outcome of our work – extending this world-famous brand into general fitness equipment presented many challenges – not least the cost driven ‘me too’ nature of competing products that can kill a category from the get-go.

The Jump Rope range developed by RDD+ offers genuine added value, elevating the Jump Rope above and beyond the low-cost commodity type items seen elsewhere.
Real world benefits, featuring exercise tracking, haptic and visual progress feedback, and app connectivity, in addition to a range of optional ‘modular’ features ensures the product is flexible enough to adapt to the training needs of fitness beginners through to serious athletes.

An ‘end to end’ approach also encompassed development of the retail proposition, and a packaging solution that is compact in size, constructed from easily recyclable and compostable materials to further reinforce the credentials of the brand.
