RDD were engaged by NZT to develop and all new range of opening price point tools.

We were responsible for every aspect of the project, establish the basic business viability of the program through detail research of the category, and ultimately setting out the scope of the range, their specifications and target pricing.

Typically, tools at this price point are not considered worthy of good design. NZT and RDD worked together to deliver compact, easy to use tools with outstanding ergonomics and excellent performance. The entire range holds together through a unique new design language, and every tool has flexibility to be reconfigured in manufacture to a range of different battery platforms subject to customer need.

RDD supported the program through to bulk production, certification and marketing, and continues to support the addition of new tools as the range grows.
